Last full day in Bangkok

Right, was rudely awoken today at 5pm and forced to go out. I’m glad though. The city has grown less intimidating and I’ve met some really cool people.

Went to Chinatown tonight for the Chinese new years celebrations. Took the subway. No tourists take the subway, I felt like such a sore thumb.

Anyway, got there and went into a load of shrines and did the whole Chinese thing. Looked like we were the only people that were not Chinese. Everyone was looking at us. Got to see a really cool marionette show and its exactly like you see in films.

Met some more people from my hostel (All lads) and we went to the Thailand Backpacker Central street…KohSan Road (thats not spelt correctly.) We got there by fitting 4 of us in a tuk tuk and I was hanging off the edge. Weird feeling.

Anyway, ended up being me, Skyler, Dilan, Mike, Matt and 3 others (Cant remember their names) lads going to some bar on KSR. Just stood around some weird drunk guy for the night. I felt really uncomfortable, just way too many hookers. Telling them your not interested gets tiresome after a few Min’s.

Anyway, we’re all back in the hostel/guesthouse now anyway just sitting around having a few beers.

Couldn’t get in touch with Ais and Minty and called their hotel. Useless cos NO-ONE speaks English here.

I’ll update everyone soon.
Mind yezer selves.
