Finally reached Chiang Mai

After an almost nightmarish day and a half, I finally reached Chang Mai. Dropped a smoke on the ground outside the train station and the police dragged me off to a room and started speaking in Thai to me. They handed me a thing that said that I had to pay a 40 Euro fine or I go to Jail. When they asked me what nationality I was, and I told them, they reduced it to 20 Euro. Good job I had it as my train was in 10 min’s. Didn’t want to miss it again!

Anyway, all the hassle was totally worth it. Got on the train and met some really wonderful locals from outside Chiang Mai that taught me lots of Thai and gave me LOADS of un-bias advice. Even got an invite to their village! I think I might go.

The train this morning up through the jungle mountain range to Chiang Mai was spectacular. Watching the sun rise over the mountains while I sped through the jungle. Pretty Damn cool.

Anyway, reached Chiang Mai and there was a guy there waiting for me with my name on a Sign! (Told ya Gina it would happen one day!). Got back to the guest house where I met a Dutch couple and a Portuguese guy my age. Plan to hook up later. Right now I’m exploring this beautiful little town.

It is WAY cheaper than Bangkok and I have never met a place so lay-ed back. Even the cars and bikes go slower up here. Its also a bit cooler which is really nice for me and I don’t look like I’m just out of the shower.

Anyway, gotta go organize my trekking and get some food.

BTW: I updated all the descriptions in my gallery and uploaded some new ones.

Miss you Sarah!

my god dave, you have some REALLY REALLY i-rate ( love the pun) customers

one is a year old, really pissed off because you completely lied to him

another is pissed off because AGAIN you lied, the FAQ says $80 for vbulletin and phpbb integration, but senthilnathan says it can only be done for $180 , also we cant do VB because it breaks the code of yadda yadda yadda for any customer to send nathan the script, which he hasnt gotten.

its all very farcical, one guy threathened to sue. i will probably just refund him. though i cant say im pleased about that

cuffy, i sent you a copy of the first email the sueing customer sent, this job is great dave, muahahahhahahahahah
